Saturn 2004.03.17

The first warm day in spring with temeratures above 20°C. Unfortunately I was stuck on the motorway and came back late. Seeing looked quite good after dusk and transparancy was excellent. I started imaging at 20:36 local time with a very poorly cooled down scope - tube current was a real problem. Whith the scope cooling down slowly seeing degraded substantially so the results from the begin and end of this Saturn session don't differ in quality :(
Troughout the session the Cassini-division couldn't be seen constantly visually to indicate the quality of seeing and tube current.

I tried several processing variants for the images. Some are sharpened harder to enhance cloud bands on the planet, some are processed softer to preserve the faint C-ring..
